I’m a big fan of putting a new twist on an old standard. Today I’ve rounded up some images of unique wedding flowers from shoots I’ve photographed in the last year or two.
I’m a sucker for anything hanging over a wedding table. Here Sarah Mayerson Design created a one-of-a-kind floral chandelier for this Tuscan-themed wedding shoot at Cilantro Calgary.
I also love the swag she assembled using pepperberries.
If you follow my blog, you’ll know that I’m a forager. For this summer photo shoot, wild baby’s breath was collected and suspended over the wedding table. Linens and chiavari chairs were from Great Events Group in Calgary.
Don’t forget your getaway car (or in this case a getaway Vespa). Here a simple arrangement from Fleurish Flower Shop added a pretty pop to the “Just Married” sign by Modern Pulp.
In 2013, I teamed up with Flowers by Janie and Lisa from Mountain Bride on a rustic, yet romantic shoot featuring beautiful blooms tucked into antlers. It was a showstopper.
Okay, I’m going to toot my own horn a little here. I used monochromatic yellow and even a few wildflowers, in this chandelier for a Stampede party.
Here’s some more hanging floral arrangements by Sarah Mayerson Design at a Palliser inspiration shoot, if you’d like to see.

Love these, Tara!
Thanks Evelyn. Sometimes it’s so fun looking back at old photos and remembering what you did.
