Foraged wedding flower ideas

When it comes to decorating your home or wedding flower ideas, I’m loving a recent trend that I’m seeing on some of my favourite wedding blogs like Once Wed and Style Me Pretty, foraged flowers.  This is something I’ve been doing for years but “foraging” sounds much better than trolling back alleys doesn’t it?  The Free Dictionary defines foraging as “wandering in search of provisions.”  Recently I collected a lovely bouquet of Buffalo Beans (Thermopsis Rhombifolia) which are native to the Canadian prairies and a colourful  spring bloom.

If you’re interested in some of my other foraged flower projects, here are photo shoots where I used lilacs, pussy willows and baby’s breath.
