One of the many reasons I was so excited to photograph Kari and Derek’s Laurel Packinghouse wedding, was because of the wedding reception ideas I knew Vintage Origami would quite literally bring to the table.  I have followed Yuriko on Instagram for sometime now, and admire her creativity and the way she makes vintage elements completely relevant to the modern bride.  Let’s just say, she did not disappoint.

I had to smile when I read Yuriko’s blog and her description of the ideal wedding…beautiful blush and ivory lace tablecloths or pretty sequence table runners and our ornate gold chargers for each of the wedding attendees. I don’t suppose it was an coincidence that Kari and Derek’s wedding featured many of these same wedding reception ideas.

Yuriko arranged a beautiful tea table with the wedding favours.  Kari & Derek sent every guest home with a tin of their favourite tea, David’s Glitter & Gold.
