When I look back on 2016, I know that this perfect autumn day in Kananaskis will stand out as a favourite.  Ashley and Steve’s fall engagement session took place when the trees were in full colour and the peaks in the distance were dusted with snow.  It was spectacular!

During our time together, I learned a few things.  Steve loves to fish (and he knows how to use bear spray).  Ashley is a teacher and has an infectious joie de vivre.  They are crazy about each other and their outdoor celebration in Kelowna next summer is going to be one for the books.

Though I didn’t officially meet her that night, I first photographed Ashley at Steph and Sean’s Canmore celebration at the Cornerstone Theatre.
