You’ve seen them on Pinterest but you may be wondering where to find circle wedding arches in Calgary. Allow me to introduce my talented colleague, Janelle from Flowers by Janie.  She was the floral mastermind behind these gold circular wedding arches at Hudson in Calgary.  The end result was not only fragrant, but also eye-catching.

 

It all started with circles

Rings have long been symbolic for commitment because they have no beginning and no end.  How fitting that she added this metaphor for eternity into the decor of a wedding celebration.

This shoot took place in a ballroom at Hudson on a wintery day.  The circles positioned against a brick wall added texture, detail and romance to the space.  While they’re lovely indoors, wouldn’t they be breathtaking at an outdoor ceremony?  Imagine circle arches framing a natural backdrop like a lake or valley in the Rocky Mountains.  For example, I’m envisioning them at Tunnel Mountain Reservoir or overlooking Emerald Lake.

The options for using the circles at weddings are endless.  For a simple and elegant look, Flowers by Janie used a singular ring.

To add fullness and depth, a combination of circles was used. 

Even the smallest ring made a sweet spot for the cutting of the cake.
