This bride tribe celebration in Calgary was extra special for several reasons.  First of all, the bride (Dani) and her fiancé live abroad so I knew there wouldn’t be an opportunity for a traditional engagement session.  Secondly, two of the beautiful faces in this squad are former brides of mine (hi lovelies).  Finally, the bride’s Mama made an appearance and since her first daughter’s wedding, she’s become a dear friend of mine.  I’m lucky enough to be blessed with a tight group of lifelong friends myself so I have a deep appreciation for the bond I see in these photos.  This put a whole new spin on the concept of an engagement session and I LOVED IT.

Dani was in town planning the wedding so it was the perfect time to catch up with she and her bridesmaids.  They brunched, they toasted and they celebrated her upcoming wedding to the love of her life.  The girls came armed with signs and a flower crown made of roses for the guest of honour.  Isn’t Dani going to make the most exquisite bride?
