I realize that spring has really just settled in here in Calgary but it’s never too soon to think about fall bridal bouquet ideas. With September comes crisp weather, vibrant foliage and of course, the pumpkin spice latte! These are just some of the reasons why fall nuptials have become so popular here in Calgary. As a photographer, I’m all for the outdoor portraits that highlight the colors and textures of the season. Who doesn’t love a photo of a happy couple, wrapped in a cozy blanket?
This fall bridal bouquet from Calgary designer Flowers by Janie was infused with rich tones including toffee roses, bronze hanging amaranthus and pampas grass. Even the names of these blooms sound delicious, am I right?
I love this delicate hair vine from Joanna Bisley against the bride’s copper hair. Together with the Trish earrings in Royal Green, Keira has all the fall vibes.
The autumn leaves of red and gold
I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sun-burned hands I used to hold
And soon I’ll hear old winter’s song
But I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall

Such a unique color for flowers. Perfect for fall.
I agree. I’m a big fan of the toffee roses!
