I know that many of you are dying to see some Pop-up wedding photographs and you’re in luck! Yesterday was a truly amazing day for Carolyn and Ryan, and for all of the wedding vendors involved. I want to start this post by thanking The Pop-up Wedding host venue, Kensington Riverside Inn. Jesse, Guillaume, Natasha and all of the staff at The Inn, sincere gratitude for your hard work and commitment to this project. Brides and grooms, if you’re looking for an elegant and intimate venue for your wedding, do consider Kensington Riverside Inn and Chef’s Table.
I also want to give a special hand to Kari Bedford of Knot Planning (and her assistant Jody) who worked tirelessly to make this event the success it was. Kari designed, hauled, organized, and encouraged everyone on the team. I strongly recommend Knot Planning to Calgary brides and grooms.
So without further ado, The Pop-up Wedding…
I’m in love with the colourful florals by Fleurish Flower Shop and Kate Spade-inspired programs by Ali of Creative Finch. (On a side note, huge congratulations to Ali, who got engaged this weekend!)
Lyana Gibert of The Art of Beauty worked tirelessly to make Carolyn, her girls and I, gorgeous. Beautiful job Lyana!
Freshwater pearls from EVStenroos provided the perfect accent to Carolyn’s bridal look.
I’m a sucker for a first look and here’s Carolyn and Ryan’s. Thank you to Ed Williams Menswear and Frocks who dressed our Bride and Groom.
Not to be outdone, Carolyn and Ryan’s two daughters wore DKNY dresses from The Hawthorne Tree.
I want to acknowledge Special Event Rentals, who provided gorgeous, modern chairs and sparkling linens (among other things) for yesterday’s event. They had everything we needed for a Kate Spade-inspired event.

Abby Charchun performed a beautiful vow renewal ceremony for Carolyn and Ryan.
Congratulations to Carolyn and Ryan. I guarantee there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Here’s to the next 15 years!
After the ceremony, while guests enjoyed gourmet appetizers from Chef’s Table, Kari Bedford of Knot Planning “flipped” the room for cocktails and dancing. Once again, Special Event Rentals did not disappoint.
Did you get a bite of the tasty and colourful macarons from Yann Haute Patisserie?
Thanks to Fayyaz of Pez Productions, Carolyn and Ryan grooved to L-O-V-E by Michael Buble. Carolyn wore a 1950’s vintage reproduction gown from A Vintage Affair, perfect for twirling. Once again, Ed Williams Menswear provided Ryan’s outfit.
What party would be complete without my “Play Station” (Photo Booth)?
A few pretty details…
Carolyn and Ryan had to take advantage of the Brooklyn Bikes that Kensington Riverside Inn provides for their guests.
That’s it for now but I hope you’ll stop back this week for more Pop-up Wedding photographs and details on this memorable day.
