A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of doing a photo session with this family which included four generations. Now that’s a rare opportunity. How lovely is Great Grandma?! I love that she coordinated her outfit so beautifully with my turquoise bench. Enjoy your photos.

I’m excited to be a part of a new wedding resource called Cake & Pictures. I’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of my latest order of wedding albums and I wasn’t disappointed. Check out the album from Sandra & Getulio’s wedding – I was so pleased with the end result. If you follow my blog, you know that I had a wedding giveaway back in May and Chelsey was the winner. As it turns out, Chelsey & Ark eloped and requested a casual, just-because session instead of traditional wedding photos. Back in June, I shot the family photos of my dear friends the Dukes in Flower Mound, Texas. We hadn’t done photos since the arrival of little Tate so it was way overdue. When you think of wedding mishaps, you usually think of freak snowstorms, missing flowers or open-mic-gone-wrong but you don’t usually think of the bride being very ill. Unfortunately, this was the case for Mel on her wedding day and as a result, these two have very few wedding photos. Well on a perfect Calgary evening back in June, we made it right.
