Back by popular demand, it’s shoe week 2015. It seemed to resonate with readers last year and I’ve decided to do it again. I was glued to the internet recently during New York and Paris Fashion Weeks. A few shoe trends jumped out at me and I tried to think of ways to make those ideas wearable for a Calgary wedding. Whether you’re a bride, a bridesmaid or even a fashion-forward guest, you won’t want to miss these tips for dressing up your feet (and legs) for a wedding. Expect to see a range of styles for every appetite, from gladiator sandals to sporty sneakers.
How does the old saying go…”something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue”? It only seems appropriate to start shoe week with a new nod to an old tradition. Footwear with a masculine flare was all over the runways and these pretty, blue brogues from Nine West Canada would be sure to bring good luck (not to mention style) to any bride. Thanks to Sarah Mayerson Design for the beautiful bouquet and to my lovely shoe model, Nicole.
Here are a few posts from shoe week 2014, if you’d like to see.
