In October, I photographed Kellie and Ryan’s classic downtown wedding. From the tender wedding vows to the last bite of wedding cake at Saltlik Restaurant Calgary, their day had a timeless yet modern feel. Take a look…
Kellie and Ryan prepared for their ceremony in beautiful suites at the Hyatt Regency, only a short walk from their ceremony site.
Imagine my delight to see Kellie’s wedding shoes by Jimmy Choo. A girl after my own heart!
Flowers by Janie provided the beautiful blooms that Kellie carried at her wedding.
Kellie and Ryan exchanged their vows at the historic Central United Church. The antique stained glass, pipe organ and low, romantic lighting set the tone for their heartfelt ceremony.
During one of our meetings, Kelly mentioned how she loved the marble-tiled floor and classic arches outside of The Hudson’s Bay. We spent some time there capturing wedding photographs with a more traditional sensibility.
At the request of the groom, they stopped for a pint at James Joyce Irish Pub on Stephen Avenue. Cheers!
Now it was time for a light-hearted stroll down Stephen Avenue, a favourite stomping ground for Kellie and Ryan.
