I couldn’t be more excited about today’s rooftop movie Calgary engagement session. My Love You Back winners, Katherine and Tyler had a clever idea for styling-up their engagement shoot. While traveling in Europe, they stumbled across a movie being played in a park and thought that would be the ultimate date. We endeavored to create a rooftop movie theatre, just for two. I love the props and ideas that Katherine had and I love how committed Tyler was to the concept too. As I watched him carrying props and making everything just perfect, it was obvious how much he loves Katherine.

This is Katherine’s inspiration board. I LOVE that she made one for her engagement shoot. If you follow my blog, you’ll know that I’m a bit of an inspiration board junkie. So much so, that when I told a friend of mine that Katherine made her own board she said, “oh my gosh, she’s you!” Katherine, you are a kindred spirit.

The dashing groom. Tyler brought along a vintage camera that belonged to his Grandfather.  This is what Tyler had to say about marrying Katherine…We will laugh, dance, have fun and spend time with our family and friends who mean so much to us. But most importantly I get to marry the girl that I fell in love with 5 years ago and even without all the fun events, cake, rides, music and food , it would still be the best day of my life.  Katherine, he’s a keeper!
