I first met Kari about a year and a half ago when she attended Vintage Wedding Showcase. For those of you who don’t know her, she’s a hard-working blogger with a keen eye for style. You can find her at Modern Girls in Vintage Pearls, the Calgary Bridal Alliance, and The Glitter Guide. When Kari & Derek chose me for their Okanagan wedding photography, I just had to pinch myself. Since that time, I’ve gotten to know Kari and Derek well, so I knew this wedding would be something so special. I was right.
As an added bonus, I had the opportunity to work with several amazing Okanagan wedding vendors that I’ve admired from afar including Nicole from Created Lovely Events, Yuriko from Vintage Origami and Christina from Classic Creations.
Here’s a sneak peek from their Laurel Packinghouse wedding. I hope you’ll stop back in the coming weeks for the full story.
I love a first look. Kari and Derek opted to see each other before their ceremony, which took place at a private estate overlooking Kalamalka and Woods Lakes. Kari was beyond gorgeous in her beaded gown by Maggie Sottero.
