Taking Ashley and Steve’s Kelowna wedding photos will definitely make my 2017 highlight reel. From the bride’s ear-to-ear grin to the groom’s ginger beard, I guess you could say that these two “had me at hello”. Who better than the bride herself to tell you about their day?
That day was pure magic! First there was getting ready with butterflies in our stomachs, to our first look in the most beautiful of backdrops, Kasugai Gardens. Then there was having fun taking Kelowna wedding photos (though absolutely melting in that 37 degree heat), and that hilarious limo drive when we were all sweating profusely. It all lead to the ceremony. I remember not being too nervous and loving every second of it. Soon we were called to walk down the aisle and I had a wave of nerves catch me off-guard. I remember one of my dear friends blowing on my neck to cool me off and saying “what can I do for you?” When I linked arms with my dad, it all just became so easy. Seeing Steve’s face as I turned to walk down the aisle is the most vivid memory I have. That moment was pure bliss.
Kelowna wedding photos – the ceremony
The most memorable part of our day for both of us was exchanging our vows. Everyone else watching kind of melted away and we were both so intent on hearing what the other had to say.
Here’s Ashley and Steve’s fall engagement session in Kananaskis Country, if you’d like to see.
