I know I’m not the only one who’s fallen in love with Downton Abbey. The storytelling, the fashions and the breathtaking, visual appeal…the first time I saw it, I was hooked. When I proposed that we do a wedding shoot styled after Downton, some of my favourite people jumped on board, some whom hadn’t even seen the show. I love that!! Although our shoot has the formal elegance of an English estate in the 1920’s, it also has a modern twist and a hint of shimmer. The best part is that it’s brimming with DIY projects that are easily translatable for today’s bride. I hope that you’ll come back next week when each day, I’ll feature a Downton DIY project.
