Maybe it’s because I feasted on a big bowl of cherries in the heat yesterday, but for “Throwback Thursday” I thought I’d take a look back at the cherry wedding inspiration shoot I styled and photographed last year.  If you’re a bride planning a summer wedding and looking for Calgary wedding decor ideas, consider cherries as your medium.  They’re sweet, fresh and surprisingly versatile.  In this shoot, cherries were used to make a wreath and eye-catching ceremony backdrop.

The cherry motif was hand painted on the wedding invitation suite.

Glass jars were filled with cherries to serve as table centrepieces.  And last but not least, cherries made a refreshing appearance on the menu that day.
