I know that there’s a Calgary bride or two out there debating about whether or not to include a veil in their wedding ensemble. Today I’m sharing my handpicked selection of bridal veil portraits. I know that veils aren’t for everyone but there’s nothing as alluring as a bride, swathed in a layer of tulle. I guess you could say that my camera and I enjoy a bridal veil.
Erin wore a full, elbow-length veil during this Tuscan-themed wedding shoot at Cilantro on 17th Avenue. Her veil and dress were from Cameo & Cufflinks. Her hair was styled by Erica from Artists Within.
Kassandra’s mantilla-style veil came from Frocks Modern in Calgary. Her hair and make-up were styled by Lyana Gibert of The Art of Beauty.
Who doesn’t love a wedding photograph when the bride’s veil catches the wind? See more from Samantha’s colourful wedding day in High River.
Let’s not forget the vintage-inspired, birdcage veil. Nicole’s polka-dot veiling came from Britex Fabrics in San Francisco. If you’re a Calgary Bride, don’t despair, it can be ordered online. Her hair was styled by Tara Watts and make-up by Shea Brown of The Hair Studio in Okotoks.
Peek-a-boo veil shots are some of my favourites. Here Clare adds a veil and accessories from A Vintage Affair to her bridal ensemble. Her hair was styled by Tara Watts and make-up by Shea Brown of The Hair Studio in Okotoks.
