To quote a recent article in Good Housekeeping, “donuts walls are the best thing to happen to weddings this year”.  They’re festive, fun and don’t forget, delicious.  What wedding guest wouldn’t appreciate donut wedding favors?  As an extra treat for me, this donut wall made a cameo appearance on the Rachael Ray Show today as part of a segment on entertaining in small spaces.  Whoot!

This bridal shower inspiration shoot featured a donut wall created using pegboard.  Each blueberry-glazed donut from Pretty Sweet Baked Goods hung from pegboard hardware (purchased at a hardware store).   A hand-painted sign and a flourish of blooms upped the wow factor.

At this backyard fête, the simple table was dressed with linens and lavender dishes from Crate & Barrel and fresh blooms from Flowers by Janie. Guests sipped on iced fruit cocktails and nibbled summer fruit arranged by color on a wooden tray.
