One of the best parts of organizing The Pop-up Wedding has been connecting with extraordinary business owners like Ellinor Stenroos of EVStenroos. I had met Ellinor before but this was the first time I really got a glimpse into her world. Ellinor is a jewellery designer and craftsman of wedding and engagement rings (among other things). EVStenroos will be providing beautiful jewellery and rings for our Pop-up Bride and Groom on April 13th at Kensington Riverside Inn. If you’re engaged and planning your wedding, be sure to call The Inn at 403-228-4442 to reserve your spot.
EVStenroos, a line of luxurious but bold fine jewellery and modern silversmithing pieces, was founded in 2010. Ellinor has introduced Calgary to unparalleled European contemporary forms and is recognized for the un-compromised quality of her work. In Ellinor’s own words…
“The jewellery I make is created to last and endure the lifestyle of the regular Calgarian woman who wants to wear her jewels as often and regularly as possible”.
Excellence…demand nothing less!
“I am looking forward to the pop-up wedding because it’s a hands-on event that doesn’t feature ‘run of the mill’ products and vendors”.
In addition to custom jewellery, Ellinor creates art and functional pieces using clean lines and a contemporary aesthetic. Custom designed and hand crafted fine jewellery, one–off objects of art, limited–edition silverware, and other commissions are available.
I met with Ellinor at DaDe Art & Design Lab in Inglewood. Not only is her work featured in this distinctive gallery, it’s also where she consults with clients.
