It’s with great pleasure that I introduce my friends Bonnie and Theresa, of A Vintage Affair today. They will be providing a colourful dress for Carolyn to dance in at The Pop-up Wedding on Sunday. If you’re a bride with a soft spot for vintage, book your consult now as they have an unparalleled selection of vintage wedding gowns. They also have beautiful vintage jewellery, purses and custom headpieces/sashes by local artisan Boutique Ju Ju. I asked Bonnie to tell us a little bit about their boutique:
Why did you start A Vintage Affair?
We longed to share our love and knowledge of vintage items and showcase them in a bright, clean and inviting atmosphere, blending clothing with collectibles and décor.
What makes you different than your competitors?
We offer a broad range of vintage items from Victorian to the 1970s along with accessories, jewellery, collectibles and décor and recently introduced our vintage wedding gown line. We take great pride in the quality and condition of our vintage items. We also have a brand new line of cute and colorful 1950s reproduction dresses for modern bodies.
Why are you excited to participate in The Pop-up Wedding?
This is such a unique event to be involved with and we are delighted to have been chosen to participate! We are still a relatively new business (2 years) and love to go to a variety of different events to show our beautiful vintage items that are popular with both modern and vintage loving brides. We launched our line of authentic vintage wedding gowns last year, so this is another wonderful opportunity to meet new brides and tell them about our offerings.
There are still complimentary tickets available for The Pop-up Wedding. Call The Inn at 403-228-4442 to make your reservation. We would love to see you on Sunday!
