Every day I drive by this alley in my neighbourhood where someone has planted a long row of poppies. By long, I mean about a 1/4 of a block. Last night I drove by and the remaining poppies of the season were backlit by the evening sun so I had to race home and get my camera. While I was shooting, I met the lady who planted the poppies. She said that she got tired of the weeds that were taking over the alley so she planted poppies. Great idea.
