It’s always fun to collaborate with Calgary fashion bloggers and Kari Bolen of Modern Girls in Vintage Pearls is no exception. Plen+y recently selected Kari to participate in their 13 Looks for 31 Days Campaign. Kari and I found the perfect indoor location on a blustery, Calgary afternoon…the mall. Here’s what Kari had to say about her spring look:
When Plen+y asked me to join in on their 13 Looks for 31 Days Campaign as one of their 13 favourite Canadian bloggers, I couldn’t have been more excited! As an avid supporter of local shopping, I’m always on the lookout for great new labels and this Vancouver-born shop with a laid-back, west coast feel couldn’t be more perfect. From their in-house label basics to their gorgeous collection of shoes and Matt and Nat bags, I just can’t get enough of Plen+y.
Since I normally have to dress up for work, I’m always happy to throw on a few simple basics for the weekend. For this casual springtime look I chose the printed Libby cami and paired it with the everyday jeggings in black (loving the little zipper detail at the bottom). I also threw on my old denim H&M jacket, a mint suede clutch from Gap and some fun new cobalt blue pointed-toe flats which just happened to match perfectly.
