I’ve already had a few inquiries about the button cookies from yesterday’s Paris flea market-inspired bridal shower, so I thought I’d share the instructions.
This recipe was passed along to me years ago and it’s kind of become my trademark. Thanks Jocelyn.
To “buttonize” the recipe, a few small adjustments were made. Use 1/2 cup of butter so that the cookies will hold their shape while baking. I used a pill bottle to stamp the circle on the cookie and a toothpick to poke out the four holes. This was done prior to baking.
