A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of doing a photo session with this family which included four generations. Now that’s a rare opportunity. How lovely is Great Grandma?! I love that she coordinated her outfit so beautifully with my turquoise bench. Enjoy your photos.

Back in June, I shot the family photos of my dear friends the Dukes in Flower Mound, Texas. We hadn’t done photos since the arrival of little Tate so it was way overdue. It’s so much fun to capture families as they grown and change over time. Can’t wait for next time. Check out their sneak peek here.

Meet the Banks family. I did a photo shoot for them recently as a gift for their parent’s anniversary and we had a blast shooting in and around Prince’s Island. You may recognize this first photo. It’s their version on the infamous Abbey Road cover photo. Don’t forget to check out the slide show at the end.

When couples hire Tara Whittaker Photography, they get an extra special treat that they didn’t even plan on. They get my assistant, Carol (around here she’s called ‘Legs’). Legs is an invaluable addition to the TWP team for many reasons. She is my second shooter, she has an amazing eye for detail during shoots, she makes couples feel right at home and perfectly at ease, she carries camera equipment like nobody’s business and she can run my “Play Station” with one hand behind her back. She’s the icing on the cake.

One of the fun things about this job is seeing families grow and change over time. This is the third time that I’ve photographed this family. Last time their daughter was just a babe (see below). We did their photos a few weeks ago and spent the morning playing in the park near their house. Even the family canine, Kenny, joined in. Lovely to see you all again! Enjoy the pics.

Back in August, I traveled to Paris with my friend Colleen. If you’re a regular follower of my blog, you may remember the photo shoot I did with Sara and Mike, who were on their honeymoon in Paris.
