Calgarians, what is your favourite...
Calgarians, I need your help. I recently received an email requesting recommendations for a family visiting Calgary this summer. They’re keen on things that are cool but not touristy – activities, restaurants, accommodations etc. I think I’ve been working too much because I don’t even know where to start. and I’m appealing to my cyber friends to help me out. This might be a fun exercise for all of us.
Ok, Calgarians, what is your favourite place to:
Play?
Eat?
Stay?
Shop?

I know I don't live there any more but a favorite place for me to eat {if it's still good} is River Cafe. Love the ambience.

It is a fantastic zoo for all ages! I love walking along the river or playing by it at Edworthy Park.

I second River Cafe - I was just there the other night and it was soooo good! Other favourite places to eat are Aidas on 4th Street, Diner Deluxe on Edmonton Trail and Mount Everest's Kitchen on 17th Avenue (and, of course, 17th is also good for shopping)
